The five-piece Brit Award nominated band, ‘The Feeling’, will be playing after racing on Thursday 15th July 2010. The Feeling, have enjoyed hit singles since 2006 including ‘I Thought It Was Over’, ‘Fill My Little World’, ‘Sewn’ and ‘Never Be Lonely’. Their debut album ‘Twelve Stops and Home’ reached number two in the charts with their last album ‘Join With Us’ making it to number one. Their third album is expected to do the same when set to be released in the Autumn. Racegoers will be able to enjoy songs from their latest album as well as some of their earlier hits.

The Feeling is the fourth band to be announced for the Epsom Live! events – a series of five consecutive Thursday evenings in July, combining the very best of music and racing, these exciting events offer great value entertainment on a summer’s evening at a venue just 30 minutes from the centre of London.

Spandau Ballet will be live on stage after a full card of evening racing at Sandown Park, so after winning gold on the the horses, you can watch Spandau Ballet sing…er…Gold!

Spandau Ballet are lead singer Tony Hadley, Steve Norman, John Keeble and twin brothers Martin and Gary Kemp. The British band will be performing next Thursday as part of their Reformation reunion tour which will focus on their greatest hits as well as a selection of songs from their new album ‘Once More’.

They had their first hit in November 1980 with ‘To Cut A Long Story Short’.  They went on to release six studio albums and had 10 UK top 10 singles, topping the charts with ‘True’ in 1983.  The band lasted ten years, a career arc that spanned the Eighties in perfect symmetry, from the nightclubs of Soho and Ibiza to Hollywood and the stadiums of Europe and Australia.

As had been rumoured on Facebook, Twitter and eFestivals, it’s time for our (now annual) summer givaway to say thanks to our friends and fans for supporting us for another year.

Last year all our packs went in less than an hour, and many of our more commited friends missed out due to not being online at the right time, so we are going to have to raise the bar a little to ensure that everybody has a fairer chance this year. If you would like one of our packs please follow these instructions.

1. Go to your Facebook, Twitter or eFestivals profile and change your profile photo to something related to Brothers Cider, it could be you with a bottle or pint at a festival or in a bar, a photo of our bar, a photo of a bottle of Brothers or even just our logo.

2. Fill out the form below, paste in the link to your profile page and ensure we have your full name and address.

3. We will then check your profile photo, as long as it is a Brothers Cider related photo we will send you a Brothers pack- all very simple.

To celebrate the end of our 2009 Festival Season, we are having a Twitter based competition to win two tickets to Jersey Live. All you have to do is go on Twitter, submit a Twitter message saying why you like Brothers Cider so much and end it with #lovesbrothers (so we can find it).

Our favourite message will be picked on Monday 24th August, we will get in touch via direct message to inform the winner and re-tweet the winning message so you all know who has won.
